Creaking gloss black strip on edge of door.

The external gloss black strip on the edge of the door creaks, especially in warm sunny weather. (the one with the Volkswagen logo at the bottom) I did see a post on here that mentioned the issue a few years back on the MK8 (mine is 8.5). Anyone else had this issue and managed to get a fix. It’s more like a click noise that I can hear by my right ear, but it also does it in the other doors. Pressing the strip from the outside does make it click. Great workmanship  anyone managed to get a fix for this ?

Yeah I have this as creaking in my 8.5 when in warm weather.  My old 7.5 didn't have the issue, so some cost saving somewhere that has reduced quality and effectiveness.
