Had an email from VW saying that from 27th September they are withdrawing it from VW's for "commercial reasons"

Hope you weren't using it...

You can use Amazon Echo Auto Mode on your phone instead if you desire.

I liked using it.

The email from VW stated it is being discontinued for "commercial reasons", so I suspect Amazon had hiked their licensing fee.

Taken a long time to find a user  :laugh:

Guess the problem is that without a vw Internet subscription it's a fiddly connection via your phone hotspot to make it work.

I did used to do that on the mk7.5 and even had it automated but tbh android auto does pretty much everything I need now.
