They may have seemed expensive but it's not until you dig under their skin you find all of the costly parts only used on the clubsports that sets them aside, and many drivers are now seem prepared to spend to 'upgrade' their GTI's - hubs, subframe, discs, etc.
I didn't think the ED 40 had different hubs, subframe and discs....
That’s right, chassis wise the CS ED40 had different springs and slightly different geometry, which I presume could only have been the ‘Toe’ settings as the ‘Camber’ is fixed.
