Hi, yes I ordered a space saver wheel and tyre from them for our 128ti, came quickly, no problems at all.
I didn't order a jack kit though, as I wanted a genuine BMW one.

Hi I’m looking for a wheel for my club sport as vw says the standard spare won’t fit over the front or rear brakes, does anybody have a redundant wheel for sale or know where I can get one , many thanks

Don't think such a thing exists.... and I thought it was only the front it wouldn't fit on? The rear calipers aren't any or significantly bigger than a GTI?

AS per my original query, I'm still searching for a suitable space saver spare wheel, plus jack/tools, etc. Not easy if avoiding original VW bits!
I have come across a new wheel including the jack and tools from a company called The Wheel Shop at what seems a reasonable price. Has anybody come across them before, or had any experience in using them?

Yes, I ordered an 18 inch spare wheel from them back in November. They seem a reliable and efficient company. See page 96 of the "What have you done to your mk8 today?" thread for details. Since that post I have checked that I can actually get the wheel nuts off all the wheels with the supplied telescopic wrench (always worth checking!) and tried out the scissor jack. All work fine. Bargain at £139 and the wheel just fits within the boot floor recess.

Was the spare from your old car a spacesaver and if so, what size is it?

VW would charge you £300 for a space saver including jack and tool kit for a Golf (ex Clubsport) if specified as an option when ordering a new car. It always costs more adding genuine OEM parts to an existing car (alloy wheels is a good example), so if you were to get a VW dealership parts department to price up a space saver spare, securing bolt, plus jack, tool kit and polystyrene/ foam type tray for the jack / toolkit you’d be in for a shock!

Therefore £300 for a (presumably) non-OEM brand new spare specifically for a Clubsport is probably the going rate.

I'm guessing by the price it's this one from Road Hero

I highly doubt it'd fit in the wheel well though I'd love to be wrong.
