Imagine how difficult it'll be for a new owner when the car is 10 years old and VW cares even less than they do now...
The mk7(.5) was the last of the relatively future proof Golfs along with a few other current VW group models that still run the same basic architecture as the 7.5
Just imagine the raft of Chinese EV’s coming over now and the likelihood of having any support or ability to repair faulty modules in five years never mind ten.
