OEM looking dash cam
« on: 09 December 2024, 20:36 »
Good evening all
I would like to fit a discrete dash cam to my MK7 GTD. I have seen one listed on amazon that fits in front of the rear view mirror and looks oem/built in. It says that it is powered by the rain sensor wire but I don't have auto wipers (I do have auto lights however). Can anyone recommend a camera that would fit my needs?
Cheers

I have the Thinkware F770 in the front and from outside you cant see it unless you look hard. Hardwired for the parking mode. Rear camera is my first Dashcam I ever had Finevue CR500 just plugged into the rear power socket. I was going to replace it when it gave up but it is still going strong.

They have both been discontinued but many are now doing low profile ones that blend in seamlessly.

I gave my F770 to my daughter when she got her car and bought a Q800Pro 👍🏻👍🏻
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.
