@Toeman; are they the ‘after’ pictures of your powder coated alloys? If so, then it looks like they’ve been two tone powder coated to replicate the original diamond cut finish.
Not all alloy wheel refurbishers will do a two tone powder coat finish - I dare say it’s time consuming to produce as it would require precision masking up of the wheels prior to applying the second colour. IMHO two tone powder coating does give the best of both worlds though; OEM diamond cut look but with the superior durability of powder coating. There’s another forum member who got the diamond cut Austin alloys on their GTI refurbished in two tone powder coat a few years ago and they also looked very good.
Certainly worth considering if anyone’s OEM diamond cut alloys are looking past their best and they’re planning on keeping their car longer term.
