I went via Carwow which got me £1250 deposit contribution, then got £3250 as well on top thanks to their promotion. Certainly not complaining !

Congrats, i would give them a shout and try and push for a little more if possible.. i managed to squeeze them for nearly 6k contribution in the end on a GTI.

I was going to say the same. just got £6,700 off a std Gti. £3,250 finance contribution, £750 summer sale, £2,700 from the dealer. could have got another £400 off for a factory order, but I was worried list price would increase to over £40,000 by the time it arrived (20 weeks). Hence why low optioned car.

Think I'd have added DCC otherwise. time will tell if that becomes a regret.

I ordered a standard GTi in Urano grey last week. But now I’m thinking I should change to moonstone. Seen a few uranos but all on mk8 life’s and r lines. I’m not sure

I originally chose Urano for my 8.5, but changed it to Dolphin in the end, after a lot of comparing at the dealership, since then though I’ve seen an 8.5 Rline in Urano, which actually looked pretty good, also since seen this video of a Urano mk8 GTI, I think if I’d seen the video below before I changed to dolphin I may have stayed with Urano and saved £700. Urano did to me look to take on a slight green tinge in full sun however, which put me off.

Just had an email from my salesman, my car has now got a confirmed build week of Wk 39, which is week commencing 23rd September, this is a nice surprise considering that it has many options ticked, and I only placed the order on August 10th!    fingers crossed that it doesn’t get pushed back. 🤞

Does look good there on the gti. The ones I’ve seen haven’t been particularly clean and just looked a bit dull and boring.

I think they also look a bit grey-blue too.  Been told Jan/Feb delivery. So I’d better make my mind up

Yep! Standard, could not be asked waiting till jan for fully optioned one.
