We Connect - mind of its own.
« on: 18 July 2022, 21:48 »
My We Connect has gone rogue and keeps telling me doors are unlocked (they aren’t), windows open (they aren’t) and it doesn’t update for a couple of days - any thoughts?

I had similar erroneous messages. A scan showed a fault code for I think, control module 9, which when deleted the we connect worked OK.

Same here, two parts to it though.... one is £55 the other £70 I think, so around £120 in total for both packages.

My issue is that the app stopped working on my Android phone when the last update happened on July 1st.... got an open ticket with We Connect in Germany apparently to se if they can fix with another update.

I was just on the verge of re-subscribing but the £120 is only for one year but not going to now until it's fixed.

You should still get the basic stuff so I'm told without paying???

Shame I did like seeing when it went in for a service and I could pickup when it 'actually' went in and the doors were being opened/closed.

I'm not even seeing if it's locked or lights on unless I pay the subscription.

Would not pay for a subscription. Do not think it is value for money. Additional cash streams seems to be the trend like BMW charging for additions like switching on heated seats if not specified in the original order.

Working now. TBH, only use it to check if car secure, Tracker location and Driving Data calendar miles better.

Didn't realise anyone actually used that junk. Doesn't offer any value at all and never did, AFAICT
