I always try to buy very low mileage cars. Many take a different view and you pay a premium. However, consumables show minimal wear with low mileage and others subsequently see the value when you come to sell. My Mini was well specced and still low mileage when I sold it. Those factors make it stand out in a sea of other, similar cars for sale.

As I say, there are other arguments to be made for other rationales, which I respect. This mindset has served me well for many years though.

Dynaudio is... dissappointing. But quite a lot better than the standard system. That said, I'm quite into car audio and always upgraded my speakers, headunit (when you still could) and added at least one subwoofer, and listen to very bass heavy music (dnb/jungle, hip hop, techno, house, etc). The Dynaudio stuff has ok sound quality but massively lacks bass.

Though i say it’s excellent, I agree with much of this.

Have you sold the Renault 5 then?

Low mileage cars are out there....!

Our 2019 PP has 2600 miles on the clock due to her WFH for a year now...!

I have to make a concious effort to either take it for a run at the weekend or hook it up to the CTEK for a while....

But it isn't for sale sorry, the missus won't part with it....

Yes the vw heated screen has really fine wires. Hard to see. Not like the old Ford ones or even the mini ones.

The climate screen doesn’t have any wires at all. It’s a conductive layer of silver. You’ll notice it has a slightly weird colour tint to it from the outside under certain light.

Under 10k miles ? That%u2019s surely going to make your list very small
Best hold onto mine then, 26 months old with 9400 on the clock. Absolutely love the car, the keys will only be taken from my cold, grey dead fingers. I have the heated screen, you can always tell as they have a slightly amber tinge at a certain angle when viewed from the outside.

I have never driven so few miles before - combination of being a homeworker 3 months after I picked it up and then the lockdowns, but it’s sort of nice just to have a car for fun?

Most miles I have ever put on a car was 120k in 21 months - 1992 1.6L Cavalier.

Sell it to me. I’ll pay more than any garage and you can buy something special!
