Don't wish to worry you but most weld repairs on wheels re crack around the weld again after  while.

Yes indeed! The wheel is scrap in my opinion.

Took the Clubby for its first Spin on the local welsh B roads and absolutely loved it, covered about 50 miles of backroads around here and the car felt so good to drive....

I have a Panel Filter here spare , a K&N might as well put that in i suppose ...

I also fitted a Racing line gas bonnet strut today, plus a set of Lockwood kick plates 😎

I will have to look at some kick plates soon, not sure what brand this time as the lock wood ones i had for my Mk8 R did not fit flush enough and the sticky pads were not good at all.

Could someone also point me in a good direction for insert options for the door panel trim, one area that i need to change , i have seen the ones on Pogiparts they look good, Also has anyone bought the Sill protectors by Rpm performance, look smart in pics but would like an owners review

Look at Marv-parts-de on eBay who make aluminium inserts for Mk 8 GTI, Clubsport and R models. They have a hexagonal design with the name of the model too. They are just over £100 delivered and they are fantastic quality, they look oem+. I had a set on my GTI. Top quality, they attach with supplies 3M tape.

Yeah those door cill strips are excellent. This is the Clubsport version. They look really OEM!
