Took my car in for the small service. I have a service plan. They also changed the brake fluid, at two years, charge £49. As an aside, they tell me there are no new GTI orders to be fulfilled by them this year until after build week 34.

£49 is a reasonable price, I was stiffed for £79.

I wonder if R supply is better than GTI.

Racingline strut? Who fitted the camera and how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking missing mine I had one on my 7.5 and thinking of getting one retrofitted to my mk8.

I fitted my Osram Dynamic Indicators. It was a fiddly job. I fitted my black Ali Express mirror cap to the passenger side but I could not get the driver’s side to click into place despite many efforts. I now have one of each. I think with the experience of doing it that I now have I could  get the driver’s side on or I could revert  the passenger side to grey. Which do you prefer? Sorry for the different looking photos, the light changed.





I also have a set of AliExpress dynamic indicators I bought some time ago that I can part company with. I never fitted them and there is one small tab used to fit them  that was missing when they arrived. I now know this will not pose a fitting problem.  They are dark tinted and not bad looking. If anyone is interested PM me and I can send them to you. They cost  me £15. I don’t want anything for them other than you fit them and post a pic. A donation to the forum charity is optional.

I'm voting for the black.

I'd take the dynamic indicator but my car is on a lease and they'd probably charge me for adding AliExpress parts.

Black is much better but it’s funny how fashions change. Black “unpainted” mirrors were once a sign of a base spec car. Now you have to pay extra to get them  :laugh:
