Just seeing if anyone has had a 5c text or email this morning. Spoke to a "case manager" yesterday and she was as clueless as the idiots who answer the phone. She's didn't see the problem in that the car left the factory two months ago and still hasn't been delivered. It wasn't until I pointed out other people were receiving cars after only waiting a fortnight from the factory that she seemed surprised. She'd spoken to Brand department who had blatantly lied to her about deliveries and shipping but because she was so disinterested she couldn't be bothered to do much more. Ringing me back on Monday with an update so I told her not to bother unless she knew exactly where the car was or it was to confirm my car was on city of Rotterdam into Tyne on Sunday. I'll take the fact I haven't had an update text this morning as it isn't on that ship either. 4ucking useless is an understatement!!

So city of Rotterdam is now going to Grimsby and then onto Tyne and St Petersburg is going to Tyne and then direct to Grimsby. 🤷‍♂️

I sympathise with your problem, however when mine was caught up in the WLTP delays in late 2018 I wrote to the VAG CEO and was passed to a case manager, I have to be honest, she was superb, proactively helpful with updates and also liaising with the dealer (who were also great). CV19 has messed everything up.

Hopefully there are no underlying causes for the delay like accident damage in transit that they'll fix on the quiet before you get it. At least one of the Prets on my R had been damage repaired prior to delivery, that discovery only made when the wife scraped the hell out of the alloy and it needed repainting.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

Could you ask to see details from VW’s system of the car’s journey and any checks / repairs made to the car during that journey from the factory to UK dealer (when it actually gets delivered)? Presumably, details of any in-transit damage or pre-delivery repairs would have to be logged. Hopefully no damage-related details will be logged, which should give you some reassurance that delays aren’t down to repairs being done.

they wouldn't tell you anyway, I've asked but not holding out for an honest reply.
