I have booked the 1st oil service and was quoted  £159. Then I got an email from the dealer saying it will be at no cost as I had bought the  car with a service plan. I didn't know that the 1st owner had bought one, so have asked VWFS to transfer the plan.

Result .

The plan stays with the car I believe ,I've just this week signed my life away for one
and was told this by vw Dealer

Jason, by signing your life away i take it you have just bought a another car.
I am now on my second Golf GTI (although my signature strip below doesn’t say so) and I totally love them and have no regrets.
