Heated seats were lovely this morning.... -5 outside, Setting 1 is perfect for about 10 mins then switch off.

A balmy minus four here at 4:30am today.
Cloth seats perfectly ok minus heaters, my fingers were a bit cold though!
Bum ok, no piles, I’ll cope!

Thanks all. Did the deal so will invest in a pair of long johns for the winter! Looking forward to collecting and some great drives!

Congrats! Tell us more about the car.

An interesting read about the UK versus open border soft Brexit Eire cars though.
They’re built on the same factory lines, have the remainder of whatever VW warranty there is which would be extendable if only two years. And yet there’s always the UK stigma about “grey” imports.
A few years down the line when they’re all well out of warranty they’ll all be equal, but will they be equal in buyer’s eyes? Will the fact they’re not numbered count despite the numbers meaning nothing and the Southern Irish cars having much better spec?

It’s not like buying a Japanese spec car with no E markings and different bits of trim and even body parts.
They’re identical EU cars made in the same production runs, and yet...
