Does the GTD have torque restrictions in the bottom two gears?
Mine always felt like it did but I passed it off as the low mileage and whatever VW do to the ECU to make the cars feel a bit sluggish when new.
The bottom two gears do feel way too low.
I felt the same with the R.
I’ve driven a few commercial vehicles with torque restrictors in the lower gears.
It’s a shame the GTD does feel hampered in the bottom gears as I’ve driven a few T5’s with broadly similar engines and they flew off the line when unloaded.
