Golf R spoiler addon fit the GTI?

I asked about this yesterday, but I wasn't keen on the price. However, if I had to choose between the Maxton and this, I would go OEM and pay up!

Just that black strip / lip 

It's a bit like the little side winglets on the standard spoiler, except laid horizontally rather than vertically. I think its nice but very very subtle. It doesn't look like 235 quid's worth!

I'd agree. I don't like anything tacked on that's obviously not OEM... especially on a car like the GTI / R which is fairly understated. That's why I'd prefer that OEM spoiler too rather than anything aftermarket.

Otherwise you could be into Halfords territory very quickly.

You could just find a Type R and reverse into it at speed, granted the Type R spoiler will be turned the wrong way around but it will look better than on the Type R.
