Don't be shy with posting a few photos  And enjoy!

I will take some tomorrow i can see a sleepless night on the cards

I walked up to the car popped my hand behind the handle and that unlocked the car ...result
tried putting my thumb on the outside nobbly bit on the handle to lock and nothing

When i get in the car wee warning comes up saying check safelock or something like that .....any ideas ?

Use the back of your hand to lock the car.

And get someone with OBDeleven/VCDS and turn that soundaktor off to hear the real sound of your car.

Can i turn that off myself ?

Sport and sound pack is the exhaust isnt it....cos i must admit i love the hum the exhaust gives off 😁

Got the kock to work too   :smug:

You can't go wrong with a Golf (obviously.)

Is your DSG or manual?

Does your hubby like the car?

Glad you are loving it.

It is a cracking car... so good that after having one as a company car, I bought my own. So two GTD's in a row for me.
Current: Mk8 GTI DSG, Adelaides, DCC, HUD, HK, Winter Pack, Rear Camera.. Aka "HMS Weasel"

Gone: 2017 Mk7.5 GTD,manual, NavPro
Gone: 2014 Mk7 GTD, manual, NavPro, DCC

Offline I wanted a GTi

With the sport and sound pack you have two sound parts, a structure part which is called the Soundaktor and that is the horrid thing that makes the vibration behind the dashboard and the other it the part in the exhaust that makes the lovely growling noise outside. If you turn the first one off you can hear the second one properly. It can only be turned off but either physically disconnecting it or electronically with OBDeleven or VCDS.

Personally I think the £50 odd quid that the OBDeleven pro cost is well worth it for things it can do from coding the lights to little cosmetic things like this

Have a look at this site for things that can be changed, the first pinned thread has most of the info needed http://obdeleven.proboards.com/board/81/mk7
