Definitely better than the parkers (but that's faint praise). Better looking than I expected but I'd probably prefer them sans red stripe. A-Team van anyone?

I had opted for standards right up until the point they released these the day they went live on the configuration i called the dealer to see if she could amend the order and she should glad i swapped now.

I have seen the standard GTI alloys on 2 cars now. So glad I didn't listen to people here and change my order. They are much better looking than the photos. They are a distinctive and easily recognisable feature of a GTI.

Money well saved.

Very much a personal choice. They do look nice but not sure I would have them myself. There's too much fresh air and not much metal and I agree they look a bugger to clean. Also  as someone else said they need the red ringed centre cap too.
My choice with the new range of wheels on the FL would be to leave them on standard Parkers and buy a set of Titanium Satin BBS CH-R's.

Agree they won't suffer from white worm, but will definitely show brake dust just like any other wheel.

Congrats on the car. Considering the amount stick the Parkers seem to receive, I personally wouldn't choose these over the Parkers if they were a no cost option as they look a bit of a fussy design and would be impossible to clean. But we all like different things! Enjoy, I literally am loving mine.

I wonder how much will be left of that narrow red band after a couple of altercations with a PCC kerb. Also beware any incompetent tyre fitters.
