Tornado red looks class. I've changed my order to Silver White though. What's people's opinions on the Santiago or Brescia's? I've ordered the Brescia 19" as I've not seen many GTI's with them other than the Clubsport.

I've got Santiagos and think they look great, but, I'd have gone for Brescias given the choice as 1 they look just as good and 2 they are cheaper though not sure why. Buying them seperately there is about a 1000€ difference - does anyone know why?
2019 Oryx White 5dr TCR.

Was - 2015 Tornado Red 3dr GTI PP, manual, Santiagos, Audi short shifter.

Go have a look at the Seat Leon colour range. It is much, much better than VW.

Have to agree. Although the Golf is clearly the nicer car, i'd take the Leon's Mystery Blue or Desire Red over anything in the straight-laced GTi pallette.

Glad I didn't order Isaac Blue, it'll be common as muck.

Nah... exclusive colour ONLY available on the facelift GTI/GTD. Not surprising it is a popular choice.

... it will also contrast well against the red GTI trim. Something I will not get with Tornado Red  :undecided:

I saw the Isaac Blue on a GTI in person today. Looks nice, pretty much like gunmetal grey. It's nice, but shows the dirt really easy and I don't think it will stand out much to be honest.

Should have gone with the "purple nasty", seems nobody much wants that.

I'll bet those VW marketing people are rubbing their hands with glee at the success of their cost optioned paint upsell campaign.

Yep, pick what is likely to be the least popular colour as the 'no cost' standard colour, so almost everyone will pay for a different colour.

With solid colours having a clear lacquer coat these days, it'll cost VW no more (or very little extra) to paint a car solid red or white or a metallic / pearlescent colour than it does to paint it Black Rubin; all have a base coat plus clear coat, so the process is the same. The exception might be Oryx White which has an extra stage in the painting process (a separate pearlescent coat applied to Pure White before the lacquer coat).

Easy money for VW.....

2020 Polo GTI Plus; Pure White, DSG (because they all are)
