Still can't figure out whether Black Rubin is like Nissan's Nightshade (liquid black, then purple in direct sunlight) or just plain maroon...Nissan Nightshade is a metallic colour and it's the metallic flake particles in the paint that makes it appear to change colour in different lighting conditions from black to a deep aubergine colour. VW Black Rubin is a non-metallic colour so will look pretty much the same colour (burgundy/maroon) under all lighting conditions. If there's a Black Rubin Golf that you've seen on VW's website that's a reasonable distance from where you live, why not go and see it 'in the flesh'. That way, you'll know for certain whether you like it or not.

I've found some more pictures of the GTI in Isaac Blue and White Silver. Isaac Blue looks quite dark in this photo. I have ordered a GTI in Pure White and have today to change my mind about what colour I want! I'm thinking that Pure White maybe too common!
Bugger, should have got white silver. How did they get red leather seats?

So they used a company that does interior work for them to retrim the interior. IMO the interior looks awful.I'm interested to see what the Velour looks like as i have ordered that!
