Aren't there various other trade buyers who give better rates than WBAC? Seem to remember there are...

Have you checked the CAP value using something like this: https://www.capconnect.co.uk/ConsumerValues/Ford.aspx?CH=PWRTZ

Out of interest, is leasing really that much cheaper? Whenever I've looked at it because you don't get the VWFS contribution it usually works out more.

Like for like, the Leasing is around £100 less than PCP. Have been totally upfront with the dealer and both the retail and the fleet guy, so just asked them both for the best they can do.

PCH can have some incentive payment back.  I have got some money coming into my account before I have to pay my deposit, all helps with the overall cost of ownership.

Hmmm

I don't have your reg to use, but just going on the spec in your sig, the max CAP value is £15,300 - no wonder the dealer didn't want it! But check it yourself.

The people like WBAC etc probably would try to low ball it too - £13k maybe.

WBAC are coming back just under £15300.  So I am pretty much middle for diddle if I give it back or sell to WBAC.

Have a few weeks to decide anyway.  Just going to be interesting when BCA want to come and see it, they better be very flexible on dates and times, especially as it is two separate appointments.

WBAC are likely to low ball it; I haven't checked recently, but I think their website asks you to give details of any damage on the car so their web valuation reflects their best, most realistic price before they see the car to appraise it.

I've got a friend who moved overseas last year and needed to sell their car quickly. They took it to WBAC who adjusted their internet valuation down because, in their view, the car was 'damaged' - it had a few small wear and tear stone chips consistent with the age of the car.

So, to the OP; if you do go the WBAC route, just be prepared for a drop in their web valuation of your car when they see it and appraise it.
