Remember that is:

£790 when you drive it from the showroom. Yes, SEVEN HUNDRED AND NINETY POUNDS

Then years 2-5 will be £140 per year unless you spec it over £40k, in which case it will be an EXTRA £310 per year, making it £450 per year.

Thats for the first 5 years, so the residual value will almost certainly be lower if you kick it out at 3 years, because some sap has to pay £450 per year for a second hand Golf...

I'd seriously suggest you untick some boxes if you want the PP-R....

The £40k figure will be list too, not the price you pay...

Ditch the options, save on weight to go with the extra performance :-)

  Bum, I thought the Geneva car was standard spec as none are on options list. Drilled discs, wing lip, and That lovely exhaust ! As  have one on order,oh well still will be the dogs for sure. Predict the next R will be way more costly especially with brexit. This one will be the mother.

Just checked and the DSG 5 door is 160g/km so that would be £500 for the first year then unless its over £40k list price. For the GTI both transmissions are 148g/km so both would be £200 for the first year.
