Brave choice for someone to make... a yellow Golf.

Yellow can look nice. Not the same yellow as the new colour but I think it looks nice

Damn wish I had that choice of colour when I was looking for my Gti would have had a match lol  my other toy as well as the wife's scirocco
gif upload

I do like the Indium Grey but having the carbon grey at the mo I'm hoping that VW do fetch this yellow out on the Gti in a cpl of years as iv said before I'm loving it and of course it matches my 2 wheeled toy lol

Anyone got a White R with Spielberg's ordered, you won't be disappointed, very nice. Like the 'new' Vienna leather seats, but still silly money, especially if only one is used!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLKF7oF0PMw
Arrived 15/5/17 Mk 7.5 R Lapiz 5dr DSG, Prets, Pan Roof, DCC, Rear View Cam.
Our other car is a Mk7 GTI DSG 5dr Tungsten, Vienna, Rear View Cam, Park assist.

Popped by Peterborough VW last week and they had a metallic black GTD in.  I am not sure why but it just wasnt doing it for me, I am not sure if it is the extra black plastic trim around the fog light area or the larger expanse of black grill below the bumper (now the radar sensor isnt in the middle) but it just looked bland to me.

I think if the Black plastic trim was gloss rather than matt, then perhaps  it would work better.

Anyway, my build date is set in and I have decided on Pure White for my next GTD :)

Ordered 06/01/14.  5DR GTD DSG, Red. Park Assist | Rear Camera | Keyless entry | Dynaudio | Winter Pack | Pro Nav.

When did Tungsten Silver metallic become available on the UK GTD/GTI?

Dam it... I wanted Reflex Silver, but as it was not available I would have gone for Tungsten Silver, but that was not available on UK performance Golfs, so I was going to go for Tornado Red.

Now Tungsten Silver is available I'm a bit confused. Though if I do decide on Tungsten Silver again, I'll probably want the Art Velours seats.

It is good news.

I live in a rural location, often the roads are quite dirty. It is also one of the wetter regions of the UK. My wife already has a red car. I spend more time cleaning her car than mine  I just find silver is the easiest colour to keep looking good no matter what the conditions are.

In a dryer area with cleaner roads, I would probably have stuck with red.

Yes, easier to keep clean in that it doesn't show the dirt and it seems much harder to get swirl marks.
