It's already possible to see and build it in German and Swedish configurators but the stock wheels that it comes with in both these countries (17" Brooklyn) are hideous. Looks like someone stole your GTI wheels and you replaced them with generic Golf wheels from your dealer:


so I think everybody will opt for a wheel option to begin with. Options (in DE) are some even uglier 18" called "Milton Keynes", 19" Sandiagos which look ok, the 19" heavyweight Brescias from the Clubsport which also look ugly but not the forged light-weight 18" Belvederes (surprise surprise) and Pretorias (best looking wheel for the MK7 imo) at 18" but not 19" and at a not-so-cheap price.
Again based on EUR prices, 4-5 typical extras for a 2017 car get you to the equivalent of 30K GBP territory which can go up to 33K if you like some extra luxuries (Discover Pro system and Dynaudio).
