Fitting a harness?

Having a cage fitted with a harness bar but without having looked, is it easy to see where I can fit the lower strap eyelets?

Attach the 2 waist straps where the normal seat belt would attach but if you want a 5 or 6 point harness you'll have to get the welder out and weld in some thicker plates to spread the load

Depending on where you've mounted your seat you may have to drill and plate as ANT mentioned for the waist belts to get the angles right to make it safe and comfortable.

Nothing is overkill for plating where safety goes in my book.

It's a Clubby S so no rear seat but has a Bolt in cage in harness bar.

Wanted to check that the seat belt real and receptor bolts were accessible

Sounds good if this is the case can I sill leave the std belt in situ?

Just had a look on the Mrs LRW's CS.
There's quite a bit of German plastic to attack to get at the reel and buckle.

Shame the S didnt come with a factory fitted harness would save a lot of messing about.

Thats a great shame and confirmed my fear. I'm guessing all the B pillar plastics etc?

I would leave the standard seat belts where they are. Hook the harness up to the cage or harness bar point.

Are you only running a 4 point?

The only thing on a 5 or 6 is the crutch strap, the lower seat cushion looks to be in one without an access slot, is the floor strong enough?

If you wont drill the PU for numberplates (understandable) will you drill the floor for a harness bracket?!

No hole drilling that's for sure, just 4 point

Driving me mad, taking so long

I've had it confirmed by Wiechers (Roll Cage peeps) that the lap strap eyelets are supplied and they fix to the bottom of the cage/seat base
