Best Tyres for 19" Rims for better road noise & ride

Dorset - how have the tyres settled in now? I'm preparing myself mentally now (car just shy of 14k miles) for the financial shock of 4 new tyres and not sure where to place my money. Happy with my Pirellis but fancy trying something else, Michelin PSS, Goodyear Eagles or Continental 6s at the top of my list.

I am extremely happy with the Michelins.  Did a run last week of over 120 miles and didn't want the journey to end. It has cured all the pattering I used to get with the Kumhos on our wonderful Dorset roads, and the road noise is greatly reduced.  I was thinking about changing my car for the revised model, but I am now going to stick with what I've got.  I brought the tyres from Black Circle Tyres which gave me the best price and I discovered the franchise was at my local garage only 3 miles from home.

I have Michelin Pilot Super Sports on 19" wheels without DCC.

These were changed from the OEM 18" Cadiz with Bridgestone S001's and I swear the ride difference was negligible and definitely quieter.
