Only allowing myself an R because mileage dropped to 9,000 average over three years and with removal of Uni run suspect that will be more 7,000

If had long daily commute or up in that 25, 0000 mileage be a GTD or indeed the E Class, which looks like the perfect comfortable mile eater with that desired economy but still retaining a sporty look.

from being around this forum for a while now and having a good feel for the manner of the guys and girls here its obvious hat they a little more considered in views and though the main theme is GTI still, it expands readily to the R and GTD and then into good objectivity on other models and so definitely no 'traitor' syndrome here  :wink:

Think you made a great choice based on situation and will be very happy with what selected though there will be days you have R hankering though  :wink:

I do like the Estate version of these and the thought of the 360bhp AWD auto does appeal.
