It's literally the equivalent to ticket touts.  . Pure speculative purchases in order to try and earn a profit. Hopefully no one buys them at these ridiculous prices

Once its registered in the owners name there is nothing they can do. Stops them flipping an allocation though.
I don't expect VW will go hunting the allocated owners from these adverts down but I maybe wrong.
