I can't get comfy in the electric leather seats in my Tiguan to the point I'm getting rid and looking for another golf again. I do have major lower back issues but no matter what I change I still can't get comfy. Totally spoils the driving experience.

Was in St.Albans last weekend and they had a R Line Tiguan and aesthetically much nicer to the previous model (they had a previous R Line in there to compare)

As it was on my final list had a good look over and sit etc to see if maybe missed a trick by selecting the R and must admit it never left me feeling that missed out on anything and the CSG GTI in there definitely caught my eye more,

Even the virtual display does nothing for me, want to be wowed by it, but sit in front of screens all day and role involves plenty of UI interaction, and basically you just see so much similar graphics in day to day that really do still prefer dials, though do see screens as standard fit in 5 years after they have recovered some money through cost option.

The Tiguan is a lovely car, they have definitely improved its looks markedly but no regrets looking beyond now seen in flesh

With regards seats, what is comfortable for one, maybe awful for another person, and thats a tough one to get over if the latter, and it might seem to some a small thing to change car for, but definitely understand myself why would.

I actually prefer the overall look of my version of tiguan to be honest and the new one is way way too expensive. I thought these were supposed to be cheaper to make on the mqb chassis!

I had a bit of pain the first couple of days until I fiddled with the seating position (mainly lumbar support) and then not had any ever since.

My Mrs complained a bit when she had her first journey in the car that the seats were uncomfortable, but I put this down to that I had bought the car and lets say she wasn't entirely happy about it! However, I did check the seat later on and realised that as I'd never sat in the passenger seat, it had not been set in a very good position - it came out of the dealers with the back of the seat at about a 70 degree angle on both seats!

Not had a complaint since from either of us though
