DSG FOOT REST

I have looked at loads of pics of the Golf GTI of late and I have seen pics of a LHS footrest which match the aluminium pedals, however it seem that VW dont supply it looking at pics on their site.

Can anyone with DSG car confirm please?

They don't its a plastic thing fitted as standard.

I have got one and can confirm it will fit both manual and DSG Mk7 Golfs. Bought mine from here

I believe a few have bought from this seller and not had any problems. It will take about 3 weeks to arrive from China. Be careful when you fit it as the locating lugs are very weak. I snapped one of mine but have no problems with it moving about at all as it is held in place with 1 Torx bolt. read Booth's guide (see link above) for more info and you will be fine

That's where I got mine - recommended by Booth. Took 2 or 3 weeks to come and wasn't very well packed, but not damaged, as it's pretty robust. The footrest is an excellent match for the other pedals and mine fitted without any trimming, or other modification. Looks great!

It is, that's same link as the one in my fitting thread.  They have multiple links and the price varies, as you'll see from JBGTI's link which is a bit pricier.  The link above or in my thread appears to be the cheapest price atm.  As said, takes roughly 3 weeks to come but it's a quality item.

As already said I also bought one of these from the same seller and on Booths recommendation I didn't hesitate once it arrived just over 2 weeks I was impressed the fit is very good and does match the existing pedal sets although you need to take a thin slither out the locating lugs on the back not too much though slips straight on bout 10 mins simplezzzzzzz  lol

I think they are different sellers within Aliexpress Bec. They certainly have different shop names so may not be the same product.

I think it's all the same product just different sellers out pricing each other.  If I was buying today I'd go for the cheapest price.  Anyway a couple of people on here have bought from that link and are more than happy with their product.
