Clubsport Orders?

As above has anyone order a Clupsport yet? If so have you been given a delivery date

Yeah estimated 18 weeks from order date which is crica week 31/32 for me.

I ordered on the 14th April and the order form says estimated delivery is the 2nd October. It's still at stage 2 on the VW order tracker.

Hello fellow Clubsport owners. Ordered 22nd of April, yesterday got told about preliminary build date being week 31 but this will supposedly "lock" 6 weeks before production so, around week 25 I suppose.

Can't really find enough things to do till then. Looking for new reviews and videos in YT and the web doesn't help a lot as it looks like not many have gotten their hands on them yet. These are going to be 4 very long months...  :grin:

The guys over in Germany have has theirs for a while and have started to play around with them a bit so there is a bit of stuff on the forums over there.

I notice in the second video the engine cover has an R on it, I wonder if its the same engine as the R but de tuned.

Yes it's confirmed it's the same engine and turbo as in the R (CJX engine code as opposed to CHH in the GTI)  :drool: One of the first things that sold the car to me as I really wanted the R potential to play with.

What's different is the stock map made to push out 290ps instead of 300ps through the 10" overboost before getting back to 265ps followed by the 10" cool-down after which you can have again the full 290. Marketing nonsense in order not to have the Clubsport tread on the R's toes too much I guess and nothing a tuner can't solve!
