have you checked your cam timing? the camshaft might be retarded by one tooth.

We now seem to have the timing pretty much spot on which is a huge improvement to the ride! Got her idling nicely and the Weber is performing really well!

We now have a major oil lake however haha

It's coming from the fuel pump where it sits in the engine, as we also fitted a new fuel pump at the weekend. The rubber seal is broken, but there's no replacement part out there to buy brand new? I've bought some high temperature gasket material which I'll use to cut out a new gasket which should sort out the issue (Fingers crossed!). I expected the new pump to come with a rubber mount, but it didn't, however there was a new o ring but it's not behaving!

I was also able to weld up the hole in the exhaust, so overall a productive weekend!

Failing gasket paper. Use high temp sealent. Glads its starting to come together
