I must confess I was seduced by the Tech Pack offer.........I half wanted Dynaudio, and half wanted Pro Nav; would I have paid £1750 ish for both, no.  But for £1200 ish (I forget exactly) it seemed like a good deal.  Dammit, I've been outwitted by the VW marketing department, the shame, the shame........

I knew I wanted the upgrade even before I knew it would cost nothing if you added in other features it's amazing what they don't tell you what becomes free if you have a play around with the spec.... shame on VW lol

It's been referred to as  'Dynaaudio' and even 'Dynoaudio' on this thread.
If you can't spell it, don't spec it

I'll echo the majority and would defo add it to the spec.
I came from and Audi A3 with Bose and enjoy my music in the car, to be honest it where I get the most time to enjoy it.
The Dynaudio system is far better than the Bose I had previouly and I'll be adding it again should I stick with the brand.

I think Dynaudio is excellent and the current generation is the best yet.  Good right from the off, but the speakers do need burning in for it to reach it's full potential, then it deepens into a rich smooth sound with beautiful deep velvety bass. Takes 40+ hours to properly burn in the speakers.  Good excuse to go for lots of drives.

Just a quick question, I currently have a Golf R on order.  I also currently have Dynaudio in my GTI PP which is excellent.  Does Dynaudio on the Golf R come with the sub which sits on top of the space saver wheel in the boot.  The reason i ask is the configuration description for Dynaudio states amp & 8 speakers, with no mention of the sub?

It will be great whether it comes with the sub or not, but just curious if the description should have the sub mentioned on it as well.

Thanks for the quick reply, I had a feeling it would, but another reason I was querying was I remembered when the R first came out it was several months before Dynaudio was an option available to spec...  Which led me to start wondering if there was a reason for the delay when the R was launched i.e. sub in the boot etc,.
