Does anyone know whether the Clubsport (not S) just has a standard GTI exhaust system with bigger tailpipes, or is the complete system different to a standard GTI?  Thanks.

It's not just the bigger tailpipes, there's definitely a different rear silencer I believe. It is louder than the GTI, nothing silly mind you, just makes the DSG gear changes on boost sound lovely.

Also, some GTI owners in Germany have already retro-fitted exhaust parts from the Clubsport (so there must be different than the GTI) although with my limited German I am not sure whether it was just the rear silencer and/or middle resonator.

EVO November 2016

Clubsport S v RS v Type R v Cupra 290

Lots of stats e.g. CS-S 0-60 5.8 braking etc etc

Verdict

1. CS-S
2. Cupra
3. RS
4. Type R
Now = 2011 MK6 GTI - Reflex Silver
Past = 2006 MK5 GTI - Tornado Red and Solid Black

Okay, that sounds good.

GTI Clubsport exhaust system.

Mmm, the description on that link makes it sound like it's the same system, just with bigger tailpipes.

No offense but I was literally going to write "worst color, worst wheels"  :embarrassed: I don't think there's another paint+wheel combo that ruins the Clubsport looks more than this.

Of course "to each his own", "we're all different" etc.
