I read earlier some comments about the black roof, if it was a wrapped or so. I have it (combined with Oryx White), and I can tell it is not a wrapping but normal paint. It's very nice! I am happy with this dual colour choice.

Do VW notify you when the build status changes

I ordered a CS at the same time as the CSS so that the CS would keep me busy while I waited for the CSS but I have no build week on either

Thanks for that, I'd overlooked the numbers quoted in the magazine. I'm surprised the number for the red cars is so low.

Not sure why you did not get an opportunity to have a colour pref, did you state your interest very close to the allocation day?
