Disklok steering wheel lock.
« on: 09 January 2016, 18:03 »
Hi
I am new to this forum and have recently ordered my first Gti!
I am just wondering if anyone uses or has used a disklok steering wheel lock and if it fits
The flat bottom type steering wheel that is standard on the Gti itself.

Thanks
Darren

I have one, not on the golf but it will fit. I've got the small one and it's been used in all sorts of cars. Currently protecting the T5.

Yeah I have seen the small one that's the one that should fit. only just wondered with the steering wheel flattening out on the bottom that it may be too small and can flip it off

Yeah your right. VW tried to get me to have a tracker fitted but tbh if it got nicked I wouldn't want it back I just want to prevent it from going if I can.

I could be completely wrong but aren't most cars these days stolen with the keys? You might be better ensuring your home is protected properly.
