Merc 312mm 5x112 discs on mk6 gti?
« on: 20 October 2015, 10:17 »
Hi,

Was looking at these, they seem up to spec, a way to get just drilled discs on the cheap?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pagid-50270-Front-312mm-Vented-Brake-Disc-Mercedes-S-Class-Coupe-C215-W220-/350719976362?hash=item51a88a23aa:m:mMD1VmKU5w5sP50_-t-RAcQ

Only problem I see, is gti discs are 25mm max and these are 28? may need skimming down to 25?

I've seen people use merc rims on golfs, so bolts should be the same etc? I think they look awesome.

or am I missing something huge!

I think you will find that the centre bore is larger, the Golf uses 57.1mm, the Merc is 67mm from memory, also the distance from the disc to the wheel mating surface is larger.
