FMIC - Coloured Pipes?

Fitted it Saturday morning. Was a bit ticked off as the instructions supplied were only for a mk5 but thought fair enough, it's hopefully a similar setup... But no! Completely different. Offered it up to the car and there was a metal sub frame in the way! Phoned Airtec for some help and I couldn't believe it, they'd never actually tested the fitting themselves, only relied on hear say from other garages. (WTF!) Shocking!! Long story short, I told them they need top sort their sh*t out and get one in to write up some new instruction. They offered to fit it for me for free in the week but I've got a tune up booked next weekend so thought I'd crack on. Anyway, I called Awesome GTI to see if they had fitted one before and they had. I basically had to cut a metal drop down part of in order to mount the new intercooler (just wanted clarification before I started mutilating my beloved car!).

Looks great in the flesh but couldn't really get a nice pic on my phone. Very 'pokey' I like this! 



Excuse the dodgy looking bricks under the wheels. I had it up on axle stands and was just trying to add another safety blanket.
