GTI ESC sport mode
« on: 19 September 2015, 03:53 »
I know the GTI cannot fully deactivate ESC (bar VCDS). So what actually goes on and are there notable differences having this in 'ESC sport'? Is it simply extending the auto breaking threshold before the rear end breaks?

It seriously realises the shackles, with it on any noticeable wheel spin, the traction control steps in. In sport mode you can spin them bad boys and also gives you more freedom to push it to the edge. Piss around to much and the death preventer will step in

You can fully turn ESP off too if you want, just a case of coding. Then you can choose in car menu which ESP mode you want.
