7.6 KG

That seems very light, as the Oz Ultraleggera are .5kg heavier in 18's, it would be amazing if they got the wheel strong and lighter than OZ Ultra's, where did you get the 7.5kg? Great news if correct

I got the info from the German Golf GTI forum, very good informative Clubsport section there. The Belvederes are weighing in at 7.6kg with the Pretotias at 9.6kg and the Brescias at a whopping 11.5kg. According to the manufacturers website of the Belvederes they are 7.9kg but this figure is being disputed as VW are saying they are 7.6kg. Also I found out on the German forum that the bucket seats have issues with several owners complaining about rattles and it seems little can be done about it.

I'm sure the manufacturers must be wrong as good old VW would never tell porkies would they?

That does seem light for an 18 x 7.5 wheel.
For example the lightest wheel Porsche have fitted in that size (made by BBS) was 9.3KG.

If the car is to be used on track, I wonder how aluminium wheels of that weight will hold up to riding the kerbs?

Which wheels were fitted for the ring lap?

It was a very difficult decision, but then I'm happy I ordered my Clubsport with the leather seats...

Prets.  Because they are the only ones with the Cup tyres,  you can buy the lighter 18's but they come with normal tyres and the heavier and larger Prets come with the track tyres?  Yes it is a bit weird.

Probably goes to show that its the tyres that make the big difference on all these Ring times...

Both wheels are nice though

Yeah, definitely the tyres.

I ordered buckets, after initially going for cloth.

I think its one of the main features of the car, but time will tell.

In fact, I think car will be here in a couple of weeks.
