Whilst i can't question whether this is actually a record....

Quick look through the used VW section of their website and their are fir few probably ex demo GTE's.  Given that the GTE has a fairly comprehensive spec, you don't actually have to wait.

I found this GTE with the rare Onyx White (really nice colour) and niceties such as lane assist and reverse camera.

I know a new car is special but nonetheless, given this is the kind of spec i'd be looking at. I would just buy something like this if I was that set on GTE.
