Airbox to hose diameter
« on: 25 June 2015, 12:16 »
Hi all,

Does anyone know (or can measure) the diameter of the joint between the airbox and the hose that leads off to the turbo please?

I'd do it myself but don't have the car at the moment and am researching whether it's possible (without looking gash) to create soe form of induction kit without tipping out £300+

TIA.

Ta - 80mm it is then. Looks like I might be buying the same universal one I had on my Astra VXR!

Remember you need to consider the vacuum hose

Remember you need to consider the vacuum hose

Just going to tee into the silicon hose I get between the filter and turbo using this...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Revotec-Self-Sealing-Hose-Take-Offs-For-Silicone-Rubber-Semi-Rigid-Hoses-/301071892833?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item4619488161

...and then replace the complete vacuum hose with silicon too.
