Best replacement radiator? NOT TOO EXPENSIVE
« on: 03 May 2015, 21:54 »
Happy days, there's a hole in my radiator! Im gonna Radweld it for now, (Hopefully), but I need a new rad at some point. Im looking to spend no money than £60.
First thing first: Are non air con car radiators the same as air con ones.
I Found an EIS radiator on eurocarparts for £34? Any good?
Car is a 1999 1.6L Petrol SE with air conditioning.
Cheeeeeers

I'm pretty sure the aircon ones are different.

I'm still looking for an uprated aluminium radiator for my ARZ with aircon and cant find one anywhere!
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

You do realise aluminium doesn't cool water as well as copper don't you?

I'm looking for more cooling, all the ones I have seen are aluminium.
