Cleaning damp interior.
« on: 03 May 2015, 19:55 »
Hey guys,

hoping for a bit of advice from experience.

Although not golf related, one of my cars has sat out for 8months, and it's not 100% watertight!

I pulled it out yesterday ready to get it on the road for a few shows, and the interiors wet/mould :(

I've taken the carpet and mats out, but I need to clean the dash (flocked) headlining (alcantara) and cloth seats.

Any ideas what to use, Idealy products from halfords for now as I've not got time to order online!

Cheers!

Hire a steamer, it's the only way you'll get rid of any mould spores.

Thanks, hadn't thought of that.
Actually saw one in halfords today for £20, that's probably cheaper than hiring one for a day!

Cheers

Just make sure it has a small enough attachment and that can be wrapped in clean MF cloths.
