Deep Ocean Blue
« on: 29 April 2015, 15:47 »
Aside from google searches has anyone seen Deep Ocean Blue in the flesh/metal?

I was just having a nose at the configurator to see what the MY2016 changes are (I originally had a look at the weekend but it was a bit of a mash up with spec and pricing still and on the phone app it's still last years specs and prices) and DOB is still an invisible colour.
Will this colour actually appear on the GTI/D as it looks remarkably like Night Blue from this link? http://quiktouch.com/VW-LA5H,0P-Touchup-Paint The R already has Lapiz which is quite a dark shade of blue in most lights (and unless very highly polished looks nowhere near as nice as Rising Blue in my non humble opinion).

I'm just keeping in mind that Urano Grey was originally on the configurator for the Golf GTI and more recently the Polo GTI yet was removed after a while and no orders were ever accepted in that shade that I'm aware of.

As far as I was aware the colour wasn't going to appear in performance Golfs. It's not actually that nice, plenty of Tiguans in the colour.
