Do roads actually change that much?

I would still order the nav pro as the screen is bigger but that's just me
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

I would too if i could have justified £1700 for it.

But think i will stick with my phone that I have used for the last 12 months.  Found a way to get directions to the petrol stations and parking that I have long since given up on trying to get directions to, so now can't even justify the £599 plus updates. Tight i know

Was one of the first options I picked. I just think the big screen finishes the look off rather nicely where the small ones look like a bit of an after thought.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

I've been in a proper pickle in several places with crappy out of date maps - usually somewhere really tricky, like Germany or France when I haven't got a clue or a paper map that has anything like enough detail either.

Having said that, I got lost in Germany last year, in my Mk7, after a recent map update...

Looks like a clever upgrade, albeit a steep price compared to a standalone unit or an iPhone with Waze.

Here's a link with all the details, should answer most queries.

Does it provide directions in the MFD like the OEM set-up?

From what I've read elsewhere, no.

It looks like there isn't an option to get it up on the MFD unless someone works out the coding via VCDS.
I could get the DAB station info up on my old mk6  using an add on system so there must be a possibility there.

The nav looks a lot better than the standard factory graphics and this system would be a good option if leasing or buying a used car with no nav.
