Rebecca must be busy, otherwise she would have been telling you about her car by now.

Is it in the forum classifieds? Can't seem to see it...

Make sure she throws in some special cleaning fluids! Asda has it on special this week. Used it for years, it may well not be good for your paintwork but keeps your hands feeling "soft"
Audi S1 gone, awaiting 1.5tsi r-line, pan roof, led lights front and rear, active dash, 18" jurva alloys and a dealer fitted Oettinger roof spoiler in tornado red.

Do you wash your hair with it too (if you have any)

You stick to your fairy liquid and I'll stick with my DoDo Juice supernatural shampoo.  As for soft hands, hand cream is the way forward

Hola forum buddies, the search still continues for a GTI. What are everyone's thoughts on this car:

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/volkswagen/golf-gti-mk5-mk6/volkswagen-golf-mk6-gti-dsg-----------------2011/3667956

Are there any things that commonly go wrong with these cars? Are there any particular questions I should ask the owner (specific to GTIs?).

Muchas gracias

Decent spec, but, three previous owners.  So you'd be the fourth in as many years  :undecided:  I'd be wary of that.

Yep thanks, that was my concern as well. I'll make some enquiries about it as DSG GTIs seem quite thin on the ground on the second hand market (if you exclude all the white ones!) so beggars cant be choosers...

Hi Logit

I was in same position as you about six months ago.
My list was same as yours mk6 leather dsg .
Ended up with a nice red 2010 but paid nearl £15000 for it.
Could have a got one cheaper if I didn't want leather and DSG probably.
Just keep looking one will turn up.

3 previous owners would mean the current owner is number 4. The person that buys this car would therefore be number 5. That would put me right off.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Into the 3rd month of searching for The One!

You seem less picky than me too so you may well beat me to it!  Know what you mean about the DSGs tho. Thin on the ground!

Thought I'd found a likely winner, only to phone the garage on Friday and find it's already been sold. Gutted!

So they would.  I was counting the current owner in with the 3 previous, doh.  Good job someone's on the ball.  Being the 5th owner would make me run a mile.

Logit - I'd keep looking if I were you.
