This gives you an idea of how to make a loom up with plugs, this is a Mk2 one...

You can get all the bits from a scrapper for the headlamp connectors, possibly still from VW

Hmm im trying to find were I can buy an uprated loom I checked that guy out and eBay but there are none for the a mk3 Im also trying to find a stock loom with fog lights to make one up myself but they also seem scares.

Nevermind found one on ebay germany will buy it and modify and keep mine as a spare if the new bulbs dont make a difference when they arrive tommorow

Just a follow up the night breakers did not make a big difference but it's acceptable as it is so just going to keep everything original

What is it with UK and Nightbreaker? :P Everytime on Facebook somone asks for better headlight bulbs everyone screams "NIGHTBREAKER".

I used to use nightbreaker aswell. m,ainly because there wasn't anything else around that was good. However i tried these: http://www.powerbulbs.com/eu/product/philips-xtreme-vision-130-h1-twin

So i use Nightbreaker in my MK3 Variant and the Philips in my GTI. The difference is, Philips gives a more "daylight" light. More natural white.

Just wanted to say, there is other lightbulbs then Nightbreaker ;)
