Diamond Brite or similar

Hi all,

When i eventually get my car i want to make sure its looked after. You hear about diamondbrite and other products out there and i was just wondering what peoples thoughts are and it is worth it?

As Dubber says, if it's done right you'll be really happy. Personally I would be asking the dealer if you can arrange a detailer to prep the car so it's done properly. £150 should cover it. Challenge might be them allowing them to do it for 'insurance' reasons.

Diamondbrite is a product normally offered by a supplying dealer ergo an opinion on the application was offered. Do it right it's great, get it wrong it has no effect, for the same money hire a pro.

I really don't see what point you are trying to make Matty.

Often people ask what is the best wax to use, but someone could take advice on what to buy then apply it with a butter knife and buff it off with a brillo pad. Despite the quality of the product, that sort of application may not give the best results.

The OP asked if Diamondbrite was worth the money, we said that it was, providing it was applied correctly.
